HP Design (Holland Product Design) was founded 20 years ago with the goal of designing & producing modern desk accessories and made-to-order business gifts. Two of the company's products were selected into the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. At the same time the special design division, electronics, lighting design (Design for Italian lighting systems) was gaining importance.

These activities resulted in the following awards:

• Roscoe Design Award- New York
• Oscar Design Award- Paris
• Selection into permanent design collection of most European countries, but also into the Australian crafts and Design Museum.
• Selected with two full pages into the international Yearbook of Design.

From the beginning, several pharmaceutical companies in Europe became the company's main clients. For most products HP Design was responsible for research, design hardware, software, software demos, software for electronic components, technical drawings for toolings, mass production, and quality control.
